Energy Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Workshop Technician (Electrical or Mechanical) based onshore in Grimsby on a full-time permanent basis.
Based in the Grimsby Depot, this new role is to carry out maintenance, servicing, repairing, and testing of tools and equipment ready for hire. This is an important role and will make a positive contribution to the success of the new Grimsby Depot.
Key aims and objectives
To ensure tooling held in Grimsby is maintained ready for hire at short notice
To reduce external servicing and transportation costs to a minimum
Maintain health and safety, environmental and quality standards.
Prime responsibilities and duties
To work safely and follow all site rules and procedures
Maintaining, testing, re-certifying a range of tools, which may include – electrical tools, mechanical equipment, hydraulic, Pneumatic equipment, welding equipment.
Tasks will include, PAT testing, visual inspections, cleaning, painting and refurbishment where required.
Completing equipment repairs and producing damage reports where applicable
Carry out condition checks on equipment returned from hire (Back-load checks)
Completing documentation ensuring our system for retaining maintenance records is up to date.
Completing Maintenance work orders in MCS hire system (Training will be provided).
Preparing tools for hire including, outward inspections, manifesting and packing.
Assisting with stock checks
Identify spare parts required to maintain equipment in ready for hire state.
Complete vehicle daily / weekly pre-use checks
Maintaining good housekeeping
KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE/ COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Qualifications / Training
Essential:
IT Literate
Technical Discipline training i.e. apprenticeship, city and guilds, NVQ, HNC.
PAT Testing Qualification
Full driving license
Desirable:
Forklift License would be an advantage
