RPS is looking to appoint a Strategic HSSEQ Director for the Global Energy team. This role offers Hybrid working from our Energy offices. The Role * The Strategic HSSEQ Director will provide guidance and support for all internal and external HSSEQ matters for the Energy business globally and where appropriate the wider RPS Group * You will lead on the development, implementation and maintenance of HSSEQ Management Systems through continuous improvement and provide guidance to the Energy Leadership Team, the Energy HSSEQ team and as required, to the Group Leadership Teams * Interaction with Clients will be a vital part of the role to ensure their HSSEQ expectations are met and you will provide HSSEQ overview and guidance for the Global Energy Project bidding and contracting processes * The establishment of a Global Energy Crisis management regime will be a key task which can be escalate d as required to the RPS Group executive team and to the RPS Board Who are we ideally looking for? * Ideally you will have experience of HSSEQ at a Senior level, HSSEQ qualifications and a background of working in Client Safety Teams or major Upstream Contractor organisations * Experience managing the maintenance of Integrated Management Systems and in ISO 45001, ISO 14001 or ISO 9001 auditing would be an advantage * Good understanding of Occupational Health and Safety, harmonised legislation and standards, carrying out HSSEQ audits within a multidisciplinary business and experience of working in remote areas and Offshore work is desired * A f ull driving licence is essential along with the ability to obtain BOSIET and HUET certification if required What’s in it for you?
