Position Overview
The Senior Engineer is responsible for delivering all Preventative and Proactive discipline work to support RSR UK Maintenance Master Plan, will provide expert discipline advice and expertise the teams to ensure world class maintenance performance in order to comply with Repsol Sinopec Resources business objectives of producing Hydrocarbons in a safe and cost effective manner always based on the principles of Repsol Sinopec Resources UK Reliability Policy and Maintenance Standard.
Accountabilities
Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with Repsol Sinopec Maintenance Philosophy, UK Safety, Environmental & Quality systems and other UK statutory legislation, British Standards and Codes of Practice.
Continually review effectiveness of working practices and systems to increase Reliability / Availability of discipline equipment
Provide support on discipline maintenance and certification activities
Ensure all discipline activities are managed through the CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) following the maintenance Process and interfacing with the Integrated Asset Planning Process
Ensure Cost Efficiency management of vendor and Core crew support and develop campaign Maintenance where possible to deliver value to the business
Closely review condition monitoring operating performance data to ensure optimised reliability intentions are made
Maintain a firm understanding of the threat Cyber Attacks pose in both regular IT (Information Technology) and OT (Operational Technology / industrial automation) environments and the potential consequences of such attacks
Key Duties
Actively work to comply with Asset Preventive Master Plan
Act as Discipline Lead as and when required
Responsible of developing and coaching the discipline engineers
Responsible for producing the risk register of the discipline equipment
Responsible of the execution of the strategy and Master Plan for their discipline
Review and approval of Maintenance Change Requests as required
Responsible for defining and reviewing the criticality of the discipline equipment
Responsible for implementing Company approved Maintenance Strategies including Bill of Materials and ensuring Spare Parts are catalogues for all equipment the CMMS and Material Management Systems.
Responsible to prepare, refine and gain approval for the discipline 5 years opex Plan
Prepare, Plan & Optimise Maintenance master plan activities for the discipline
Plan & optimise all Major Activities out with the Master Plan as one-off Correctives
Prepare all Maintenance activities, Strategy and CAP activities, to an execution status using approved Work Management
Responsible for preparing, gaining approval, executing and controlling the Budget to deliver the Discipline Master Plan
Manage on a weekly basis the maintenance budget commitment for the discipline assuring cost control and productivity
Ensure the proper handover of high-quality prepared work to the IOC and IAP teams
Ensure all discipline maintenance records and plant history are updated using CMMS as the only source of the truth
Ensure all purchase orders and spare parts replenishment is managed against a Work Order
Periodic audit/review of maintenance activities and records to ensure process compliance and satisfactory quality completion
Assure critical spares availability in the event of failure in critical production path in accordance with maintenance master plan
Continuously review and manage equipment lifecycle and obsolescence
Follow up the discipline equipment failure rate identifying the causes and taking actions to improve reliability
Engaging and feeding improvement with strategies and procedure updates of Repsol Sinopec maintenance process
Participate in Onshore Root Cause Failure Analysis assessments in the wake of production critical and safety critical equipment failures
Ensure all discipline Shutdown related activities are fully prepared with the correct materials in place and prioritised with the WO shutdown coding in the CMMS, ensuring maximum shutdown efficiency
Promote technological innovations that can be economically exploited to improve facilities safety, production performance or reliability
Manage vendors as part of key rotating equipment contracts and provide input into performance reviews
Provide technical assistance to asset operations teams utilising managed processes to action discipline technical queries, threats and investigations
Support the management of change processes as required for discipline equipment
Education Attainment & Accreditation
Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a mechanical engineering discipline
Professional Skills & Experience
Previous offshore maintenance and operations experience within the oil and gas industry preferred

Demonstrates personal leadership ability which support the business objectives
Strong safety awareness
Demonstrates flexibility and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
A self-starter, able to identify and lead business improvements as required
