We have an interesting opportunity on offer – we are looking to recruit to the position of Assistant MDT Co-ordinator to work within the MDT Coordinator team. The role of the Assistant MDT Co-ordinator is to provide administrative and audit support to the MDT coordinators by way of tracking patient pathways.
The successful applicant for the post will have strong administration skills but more importantly have the ability to prioritise and escalate potential issues on the cancer pathway for patients and for example chase results if necessary. The post holder will use the Cancer Care Pathway (CCP) software and other software packages to track patients and training will be supported.
