Reed Engineering are working alongside a service company to the Oil and Gas industry who are looking to add a Production Technician to their team on a permanent basis. This role will be based in the Aberdeen area.
Salary: £27K – £32K
Hours: Monday – Friday 7am – 3pm
Daily Duties –
Check that all equipment is operating efficiently and is maintained
Preparation of equipment for dispatch, including preparing and painting of cylinders and bundles
Ensure all products are filled to the required quality and specification
Inspection of equipment slings and shackles ensuring operational compliance with all associated procedures and standards
Maintain documentation using company procedures and pressure ratings
Candidate Requirements –
Counterbalance Forklift Certificate
Mechanical awareness including welding and grinding
Ability to work as part of a small team to meet deadlines
Previous experience working with gases
Strong mathematical skills
