We currently have an opportunity for a Graduate Estimator to be based in our Aberdeen Office.

Role Outline/ Responsibilities

The cost of delivering a project is a clients key decision driver in almost every instance. The estimating group provides vital support to the project team in assessing the total costs of all labour, equipment and materials required.

The estimator will need to interact with all disciplines involved in the estimate to gather information to prepare the estimate and check for completeness. The estimator will have knowledge of estimating techniques and use software models to manage the information. They will require strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly excel. Estimators will need to liaise with both Worley Senior Management and clients as the estimate will undergo various reviews and challenges to ensure accuracy and completeness. Following submission of the estimate, there is often a requirement to revisit with scope changes and other adjustments to enable the project to achieve its goals.

A team player with a methodical, practical approach, attention to detail and a willingness to learn will be best suited for this position.

Qualifications

Job Specific Knowledge: Entry Level position.

Education: Recent graduate of Degree or Diploma programme in relevant discipline (Engineering preferred).

HSE Capability: Ability to comply with and promote HSE policy and OneWay™ framework.

IT Skills: Strong user of Microsoft Office Applications

People Skills: Confident and able to communicate basic information with peers, stakeholders and management both verbally and written.

Other: Strong organizational and problem solving skills
