Sterling Home Aberdeen is looking for a Flooring Manager to join the team in our newly refurbished store in Bridge of Don. We are looking for enthusiastic and positive individuals to join our team.

This is a hands-on management role, responsible for developing and managing the team within our established and successful flooring department. Essential to your success will be your commitment to the store as a whole and the best that you and your flooring team can contribute to that.

• Develop your flooring team to maximise sales and to provide exceptional service to our customers
• Manage and motivate the team to work to their full potential
• Work closely as part of the store management team to integrate all departments towards the shared KPI’s and goals of the store
• Promote the sharing and development of product knowledge across the store to enhance the customer experience through cross selling
• Lead by example – you are a brand ambassador
• Be an exemplary hands-on manager – selling flooring, delivering accurate estimates following measures, providing direct service to the customers

Candidate Requirements & Experience
• Supervisor/management experience gained in a sales/retail environment
• Strong knowledge of all flooring and auxiliary products
• Strong sales experience, target driven and passionate about selling
• High literacy, numeracy, negotiation and communication skills
• A people person – for staff and customers alike
