The role reports to the Technical Integrity Engineer.
The Engineering Assistant will be required to interface at all levels and with all Integrity disciplines in the delivery of asset integrity management and the annual Integrity program.
The role will form part of a centralised asset support team.
The role when required, supports other asset groups during high work volume or for critical activities.
The role requires aspects of self-leadership and an ability to be proactive in the identification of improvement opportunities in data and systems management for continuous improvement.
To support delivery of Integrity day-to-day and assist in the set up and administration of Integrity Assurance Program knowledge management.
Providing valuable support to the implementation of the asset Integrity delivery plan.
Accountabilities • Maintaining and managing the accuracy of asset registers • Timely input of all relevant inspection data to Company COABIS database • For the preparation and issue of inspection work packs in accordance with planning gate criteria • For the receipt, logging and data input of completed inspection work packs • For managing the close out of the integrity cycle through the Integrity Cycle Tracker • Assigning planned hours to Maximo PMs based on following years work, that reflects level and duration of activities as defined by discipline engineers • Assisting planning and scheduling of integrity activities and liaising with Asset planners • Assist in work order preparation ensuring correct hours and resource has been dedicated • Generation and assigning COABIS anomalies through data input • Responsible for maintaining controlled drawings and ensuring controlled hard copies are up to date with red line mark ups • Maintain the Corrosion and Inspection record systems, which will include the handling of in-service inspection data and databases • The control, issue and revisions to inspection and corrosion strategies, procedures, working instructions and technical reports • Maintain a firm understanding of the threat Cyber Attacks pose in both regular IT (Information Technology) and OT (Operational Technology / industrial automation) environments and the potential consequences of such attacks Key Duties • Coordinate inspection data input into the relevant databases i.e.
COABIS, IRS & TMAX, working with the Integrity Service Contractor and all project teams • Provide assistance and overview of data cleansing activities, to ensure integrity assurance across assets and a standardised corporate approach to recording data in registers and databases • Conduct isometric gap analysis reviews, liaising with document control and AutoCAD users to update inspection isometrics, implementing corporate templates and drawing nomenclatures and symbol keys • Support for collating monthly department reporting, including company integrity KPIs, Coabis Dashboards and integrity performance metrics • Review integrity file records, projects and inspection records, and summarise findings • Responsible for the quality of integrity data within COABIS and MAXIMO 7.5 • Interrogation of maintenance management system to compile status reports / presentations for wider communication • Support under supervision updating of Asset Risk Based Inspections with inspection summaries where required • Support integrity improvement initiatives, working with the various disciplines and asset focal points, collating feedback and assisting with progress tracking • Assist with drafting of documents and reports, in line with document control procedure • Support and improve systems to enhance the integrity and team performance, identifying areas for improved efficiency • Contribute to progress reports, presentations and meetings • Responsible for maintaining and updating KPI trending data • Provide technical administration support Job Description Education Attainment & Accreditation • Graduate Engineer • Degree/ HND / HNC qualified in engineering or equivalent • Professional membership would be preferred i.e.
EngTech Professional Skills & Experience • Basic knowledge of legislation, guidance and regulations idea • An understanding of offshore main installation infrastructure • Detailed Working knowledge of COABIS • Detailed Working Knowledge of SharePoint • Proficient Working knowledge of Microsoft Office • Experience with RBI database management, record keeping & report writing • Exposure or familiarisation with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems and ability to understand detailed engineering drawings and data contents.
