Corporate Procurement Lead – Worley – Aberdeen

Worley is currently recruiting a Corporate Procurement Lead to join its team on a full time basis.

This role can be delivered by hybrid working with regular time working from home balanced with attendance at one of our offices.

Focal point for all UK Corporate Procurement activities.

Assist Supply Chain Director and provide advice on all Corporate Procurement initiatives.

Lead all activities regarding the identification, evaluation, selection, engagement and negotiation of agreements with suppliers within the UK Corporate Procurement function, liaising with the business and adhering to Worley processes and procedures.

Lead, coordinate and manage Corporate Procurement initiatives.

Obtain market intelligence and evaluate the supply market.Work with standard forms of Contract and negotiate terms & conditions, prepare contracts, monitor supplier performance and delivery of goods/services to meet business objectives.

Provide the business with clear, accurate advice on contractual arrangements as part of any tender proces

Responsible for working with established strategies and supporting the development of new strategies and initiatives; establishing and negotiating local, regional and national supplier agreements, and overseeing the coordination of the procurement and delivery of the goods/services.

Support and drive compliance with Worley processes and procedures across the function.

Organise training for personnel to continually drive compliance across the function.

Ensure compliance with Delegations of Authority (DOA) and review the UK hubs DoA in line with the Global updates.

Support audits within the function and their outcomes

Develop Delegation of Authority for the UK region in accordance with the latest org. structure

You will:

Work with various functions to identify and understand Worley sourcing / purchasing requirements.

Develop appropriate sourcing strategies.

Execute strategies, including market engagements through an RFx (eg. RFI/ RFP/ RFQ)

Perform pre-qualification and due diligence processes for all potential suppliers

Receive and handle all queries from potential suppliers including co-ordination of function response to queries

Facilitate the RFx evaluation process; perform Commercial evaluations, co-ordinate Technical evaluations and negotiate contractual terms and conditions.

Compile Proposal summaries and Award Recommendations, obtaining all approvals in line with Worley processes and procedures.

Maintain Securities (Bonds, Performance Guarantees, Insurances etc) and track for expiry.

Ensure contractual compliance by Supplier.

Lead the process of supplier performance evaluation and delivery of services / goods to meet objectives.

Lead Supplier Contract Review meetings.

Review, co-ordinate and manage supplier amendments and variations of approved changes.

Perform all close-out activities.

Maintain contract registers in accordance with Worley practice.

You’ll have:

University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. 

Typically 7 years relevant experience.
