Exciting opportunity for a full time / permanent Assistant Vehicle Administrator

£10.00- £11.00 per hour depending upon experience

Our client is one of the largest salvage and vehicle recycling companies in Scotland, growing organically and by acquisition.
It is a well established, family run business located in Dyce, Aberdeen.
This is a great place to work and the team now requires a motivated and reliable Assistant Vehicle Administrator to work at one of the UK’s leading vehicle recycling and green parts facilities.
Full training and support will be provided in this administrative role.

More about the role and what we need from you
The main purpose of this role is to assist in our busy office, administering vehicle transactions and liaising with insurance companies and customers.
The main duties of the role can be summarised as follows:
Input of data into our computerised database system for stock management. Data Entry.
Liaising with insurance companies, garages and private individuals to organise vehicle collections. Customer Services.
Organising daily loads for our drivers for the collection and delivery of vehicles
Answering telephone calls and assisting with customer queries
Other duties as required
About you:
The successful candidate will ideally have:
An interest in vehicles and / or car salvage operations
Ability to work in a competent and efficient manner, as part of a busy and growing team
Work well on your own or as part of a busy team- be driven and self-motivated to achieve goals and produce good quality work
Strong communication, Microsoft Office (Excel) and IT skills
Strong administrative skills, well organised- basic accounts / finance knowledge would be advantageous
Work in a fast-paced environment and multi task methodically and safely
